Border/Lines magazineBorder/Lines was a quarterly journal on the arts, culture and society. I was the original designer for the magazine in the early 1980s, went away, and then came back again as designer in the late 80s and early 90s. Its quarterly schedule made it easy to fit into my schedule, and its large, oversize format at the time (9.5 inches x 13.5 inches) made it a joy to design for, even though the interior pages were only in black and white. What’s that typeface on that final spread? It’s Futura Black.
